Tang Honggui was born in Taishan, Guangdong. He was a painter and interior designer for the Chinese Painting Creation Institute. He graduated from the Department of Arts and Crafts of Zhaoqing University in 1990, and then attended the advanced seminar of the special painting and calligraphy project of the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University. In 2017, he participated in the 2nd Guangdong Chinese Painting Writer Creation High School and the famous Lingnan art master Taihangshan sketching activity. The 47 works exhibited mainly focus on the natural scenery of Taihang Mountain and Taishan Mountain, and relationship between nature and people with a rich composition, a combination of virtual and real.
